The 3x3 Summer League tips off on Thursday 6 August
Three courts, four nights and a lot of basketball. Here is what the summer league looks like and how your team gets a place.
The 3x3 Summer League returns on Thursday 6 August at Dean's Sport and Leisure on Monks Road, and it runs across four nights through the summer.
Three courts run at once, so there is very little standing around. Every team plays multiple games a night. Half court, first to 21 or the buzzer, and the format has been run here before, so this is a repeat of something that already works rather than an experiment.
How to get a place
Teams register through the form and we confirm places from there.
If you are pulling a team together and want to know more before you commit, send us a message and we will talk it through.
And looking further ahead
The Central Venue League returns on Thursday 1 October in a new format. From this season the league runs by invitation, with a smaller and more consistent group of teams. The change is about protecting the quality of the basketball and the standard of behaviour that makes the league worth turning up for, and about giving the competition a structure that can be sustained year after year.
Teams interested in a place in future seasons are welcome to get in touch.
